Knowledge
1.Students understand general concepts of personality psychology and their relation to other branches, explain basic problems and facts analysed in personality psychology, know terminology, have an idea of basic theories and processes in personality psychology, critically evaluate personality theories in contemporary context.
Skills
1.Students use different terms of personality theories, compare theories, use cognitive and practical skills acquired in the course of personality psychology to carry out professional tasks.
Competences
1.Students have good knowledge of personality psychology theories; have some self-analysis skills. Students have the skills in structuring their learning and group activities.

Introduction to personality psychology. History of the development of the concept of personality. Defining the concept of personality in psychology. Terms of personality psychology and their application.

Psychoanalytic theories. Sigmund Freud's theory of psychoanalysis. Karl Gustav Jung 's analytical personality theory. Alfred Adler's Theory of Individual Psychology. Eric Fromm's humanistic personality theory of psychoanalysis.

Biological typology, Hana Aizenka personality theory theory. Behavioral approach to personality, Beres Frederic Skiner's theory. Theory of social cognition, the theory of Alberta Bandura.

Personality theories of the humanistic approach, Karl Renson Roger's theory, Abraham Maslow's theory, Existential psychology's approach to the understanding of personality, Victor Frankl's logotherapy.
