Skills

1.Students will have acquired practical skills in wound dressing; surgical hand scrub and hand hygiene rules in surgical department and operating theatre dress policy. The students will be able to maintain asepsis and antisepsis; to apply temporary bleeding control methods; they will be able to determine the blood type and to manage transfusion request proceedings; to evaluate the patient’s condition and to provide/organise aid in trauma and acute situations.
