About Study Course
Objective
To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in specialized resuscitation, intensive therapy, anesthesiology, in accordance with the requirements of the regulations of the specialty of vascular surgery, in order to prepare the doctor for certification in the specialty of vascular surgeon, in accordance with the regulatory documents of the Republic of Latvia.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.After completing the course, you will gain knowledge about: - Resuscitation algorithm, -Principles of intensive therapy in vascular surgery, -Analgesia methods in angiosurgery, - Selection of anesthesia for vascular surgery.
Skills
1.After completing the course you will be able to: -Perform resuscitation measures at different stages of treatment during emergency and planned operations in vascular surgery, -Cannulate the jugular vein and peripheral veins.
Competences
1.Will be able to: - Quickly and practically apply resuscitation measures, -Freely navigate the choice of anticoagulants, using antidotes, -Provide professional assistance to patients with post-ischemic syndrome, - HIT.
