About Study Course

Objective

The course aims to learn contemporary modes of movement - conscious and somatic movement, dance, yoga and outdoor activities - as a means of promoting personal psychoemotional goodness.

Preliminary Knowledge

Specific knowledge of psychology is not necessary. The study course requires academic skills - the ability to navigate scientific literature, gather information and argue, and the ability to plan time.

Influence of movement on mind, body, and health

Test

Individual work - a report on a chosen topic related to the impact of modern movements on goodwill. The student draws conclusions about the effect of a certain type of movement on the benevolence indicators. The conclusions are based on scientific literature, factual analysis and personal attitudes.

Evaluation criteria:

  1. Relevance and quality of the content of the report;
  2. Ability to analyse scientific literature, facts and draw reasonable conclusions;
  3. Ability to use reliable sources of information and to correctly design references;
  4. Work structure, language quality and presentation.

Contemporary movement program

100.00% from total grade
10 points

Individual development and presentation of the programme plan during the practical workshop. The student collects data during the course which is analysed in the introductory part of the programme. On the basis of the findings, an individual movement programme for the promotion of personal well-being is being developed. Each student sets their own individual wellbeing goal, which would be achieved as a result of the program. During the practical seminar, the student presents and justifies his or her movement programme, as well as demonstrating one of the movements.

  1. analysis and conclusions of collected data
  2. Development of an individual motion programme based on the guidelines given
  3. justification for choice of movement
  4. practical demonstration
