About Study Course

Objective

Extend knowledge of bronchology, learn the types of bronchoscopy, indications and contraindications for the examination.

Knowledge

1.Know the techniques, indications and contraindications for bronchoscopic examination in children.

Skills

1.Assess the normal anatomy of airways and airway abnormalities during endoscopy, be able to interpret the findings.

Competences

1.Use the acquired knowledge and skills to perform the functions of a highly qualified specialist and to advise patients with acquired and congenital lung and respiratory diseases at any age of the child.

During each study course, reports are prepared, clinical cases are reviewed, and the latest literature is reviewed. In addition to seminars, residents conduct research and pedagogical work, as well as attend lectures organised by the Centre for Continuing Education on interdisciplinary problems and theoretical guidelines in medicine and other sciences.
