About Study Course

Objective

To provide with and improve the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in accordance with requirements of neurosurgery speciality regulations in order to prepare the doctor for certification in neurosurgery speciality.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.On the latest principles of diagnostics and classification of nervous system pathologies, basic principles of surgical, radial, chemo- and palliative therapy in neuro-oncology patients.

Skills

1.Is able to perform degrees of tumour anaplasia and determine the proliferative activity.

Competences

1.Based on knowledge and skills acquired, the doctor is able to practice independently in the speciality of neurosurgeon, to carry out a self-evaluation of the results of his/her own work, participate in training of the colleagues and improve his/her own professional capacity by means of self-study on a regular basis.

In addition to the workshops, residents carry out research and teaching, as well as visits to CEF RS organized lectures of medicine and other sciences interdisciplinary problems and the theory of the guidelines. The resident must independently review the literature, prepare presentations on the topics of the seminars.
