Knowledge
1.Upon completion of the project, the student demonstrates knowledge of the planning of the work of the research group, describes the framework of research findings and critical collection of research information.
Skills
1.The student uses research methods according to the tasks of the research project, systematizes and explains the results. Finds, processes and analyses research information. Draws up theses on the obtained results and effectively presents the data to the scientific community.
Competences
1.Improves his/her research activity, justifies research results, manages research methods and puts forward research ideas.

|
The student participates in a research project related to the subject matter of the doctoral thesis; develops research skills and abilities necessary to achieve the goals. Participates in the communication of research results with the scientific community.
The student's contribution to the improvement of the study process is the provision of meaningful feedback on the study course by filling out its evaluation questionnaire.

The student can provide documentary evidence on: participation in National and/or international research projects, international scientist exchange programmes, or the status of a visiting doctor corresponding to the subject matter of the doctoral thesis. 1 CP is allocated for 1-month work in an international project, 0.5 CP – for 1-month work in the National Research Programme. The total amount of work done cannot be less than 2 CP.
The minimum number of CP that a doctoral student can obtain in one semester is 2 CP, which corresponds to the work done in the amount of 80 academic hours (1 CP = 40 academic hours). A maximum of 4 CP can be awarded for work of at least 160 academic hours per semester. A maximum of 8 CP can be obtained throughout the course of study, corresponding to the work done in the amount of at least 320 academic hours.
