Knowledge
1.1. Describe methods of anesthesia, pharmacotherapy of the anesthesia means, operational principles of the anesthesia devices. 2. Expound the specific aspects of pain in the emergency medicine: application of analgesia and sedation for adults; explain the anatomical, physiological, pharmacological mechanism of pain transmission; interpret the evaluation of pain, explain the pharmacology of sedative and pain killing medications; explain the psychological and social aspects of pain in pediatrics, in the care taking of adult and geriatric patients. 3. Explain the ways of ensurance of airways.
Skills
1.The student will be able to: ensure airway patency in patients with face-jaw injuries.
Competences
1.Independently choose and practically realize anesthesia and analgesia in emergency situations, including during the diagnostic procedures and manipulations in the prehospital and hospital Admission Department phase.
