About Study Course

Objective

To provide an opportunity to revise theoretical and practical knowledge about occupational diseases, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, examination possibilities thereof and relevant legislative acts and documents, so that the doctor can apply this knowledge in practice when investigating a case of occupational disease.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knows and analyses current information on occupational diseases, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, examination possibilities thereof, incl. on specific examinations and relevant legislative acts, documents.

Skills

1.To carry out a targeted (specific) anamnesis collection, draw up an examination plan, including specific examinations, to interpret the hygienic characteristics of the workplace and safety data sheets.

Competences

1.- to assess the impact of work environment risk factors on the development of occupational diseases; - to develop correct tactics for the treatment, rehabilitation, working capacity examination of occupational patients.
