Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Acquires knowledge about the most common eye diseases in children, functional disorders of the visual system in cases of neurological diseases and syndromes.
Skills
1.Able to perform basic clinical examination of paediatric eye diseases, uses theoretical knowledge and manipulations in the examination of the visual system for the diagnosis of neurological diseases and syndromes.
Competences
1.Independently plans and organises the improvement and development of one’s professional competence. Competence in eye diseases is sufficient to understand their nature, diagnose them and, if necessary, provide emergency assistance, refer to a specialist, as well as implement diagnostic, treatment and preventive measures under the guidance of a specialist. Integrates ophthalmology knowledge in the development and expansion of the competence of the paediatric neurologist specialty.
