About Study Course

Objective

To develop an understanding of ethics, the importance of ethical behavior, the nature and forms of entrepreneurship, its legal framework, work organization and management principles necessary in the field of work.

The study course is a general educational study course that provides students with the opportunity to develop orientation in important aspects related to professional activity (entrepreneurship, ethics, labor relations).

Preliminary Knowledge

Basic general academic skills are required.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.After completing the study course, students will be able to describe the importance of ethics in the work of a psychologist and explain the basic concepts and forms of entrepreneurship, define the principles of founding a company and the registration procedure, explain the nature of company management, the content and necessity of business plans, as well as describe the legal aspects of professional activity related to it.

Skills

1.As a result of completing the study course, students will be able to navigate the basic issues related to ethics and entrepreneurship and their regulation, the tax and fee system of the Republic of Latvia, and the specifics of employment relations.

Competences

1.After completing the course, students will be able to use knowledge about ethics and entrepreneurship and the regulatory enactments in Latvia that are necessary for their future professional activities.
