Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.• Be able to explain the terms of Pulmonology; • Describe pulmonological diseases diagnostic principles and use; • Explain pulmonological disease pathogenesis of different ages; • Evaluate children - pulmonological patients; • Name and describe the lung diseases of children; • Compare different methods of investigation.
Skills
1.The student will be able to: • Collect relevant information about the child with pulmonologic diseases; • Use the appropriate method for the investigation of pulmonologic patients; • Take pulmonological diseases differential diagnosis; • Choose the most suitable / appropriate therapy; • Select and make the best use of examinations in accordance with the disease and the patient's age.
Competences
1.The student is able to use the acquired knowledge of the child pulmonologic disease differential diagnosis: • Can formulate pulmonologic disease diagnosis; • Differentiate pulmonary diseases; • Interpret the data on respiratory tests; • Develop recommendations for the prevention of lung diseases.

To prepare two presentations about complex patients. Teach a resident to communicate with children of their parents, guardians, to collect the necessary information – history, to acquire the skills to investigate pulmonologic patients of different age, choose and apply correct pulmonological diagnostics and treatment procedures, to draw up a prevention plan.
