Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Able to present and explain the anatomy and physiology of the female genital organs; understand the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnostic and treatment options of inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs. Knows the principles of reproductive anamnesis collection and the basic methods of a woman's gynecological examination. Knows the physiology of women's menstrual cycle, its regulation, its disorders; sexual disorders caused by hormonal disorders. Understands and is able to present information about physiological and pathological pregnancy, sex life during pregnancy, infertility, its etiology, pathogenesis, treatment options (IVF, ICSI manipulations); contraception, its methods (mechanical, hormonal, intrauterine), the effects of contraception on sexual function. Understands the etiology, pathogenesis, investigation and treatment options of organic sexual disorders in women (dysparenia, orgasm dysfunction, lack or loss of sexual desire, genital response disorders, organic vaginismus).
Skills
1.Performs anamnesis collection, clinical and instrumental diagnosis of gynecological diseases; means treatment for gynecological patients; advises patients on contraceptive options, infertility treatment methods; diagnoses and treats inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs under the supervision of a certified gynecologist; under the supervision of a certified gynecologist, diagnoses and treats organic sexual disorders in women (dysparenia, orgasm dysfunction, lack or loss of sexual desire, genital response disorders, organic vaginismus); fills out the medical documentation.
Competences
1.Draws up diagnostic algorithms, analyzes and differentiates gynecological diseases; understands, evaluates and chooses various treatment methods for inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs, organic sexual disorders in women; chooses a suitable contraceptive method, infertility treatment method; evaluates and draws up a treatment plan for gynecological patients within the limits of competence; analyzes the course of treatment and corrects it as necessary under the guidance of a certified gynecologist; analyzes treatments and draws conclusions based on the principles of evidence-based medicine.

1. Independently studies the literature related to the course topics;

3. independently collects data on the anamnesis of the disease, objectively examines the patient, formulates the primary diagnosis, which is discussed with the instructor;

5. fills in the medical documentation;
6. independently executes the instructions of the certified specialist.

Practical works 90% (Performs clinical and instrumental diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases).
Final test: oral test, during which the resident presents a diary with a list of performed manipulations and operations - 10%. Attendance at seminars is mandatory. Absence of 20% of seminars is allowed for a valid reason. Late practical work must be completed.
