About Study Course
Objective
To examine the quality of the developed Master’s thesis, compliance with the methodological regulations for the development, presentation and defence of the research paper of RSU Faculty of Social Sciences and preparedness for further advancement in defence, as well as knowledge and skills in the preparation and use of a correct work presentation, the justification of their opinion and the development of a discussion.
Preliminary Knowledge
All study courses provided for in the professional Master’s study programme have been successfully completed. A fully developed Master’s thesis has been submitted, in accordance with the amount provided for in the methodological regulations for the development, presentation and defence of RSU Faculty of Social Sciences research paper.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Student acquires knowledge of the requirements and procedures for successfully defending Master’s thesis, receives an oral assessment by the Commission regarding the quality of the submitted Master’s thesis and presentation.
Skills
1.Student acquires skills in preparation of presentation, pre-defence and defence of Master thesis, instructions on necessary improvements in Master’s thesis and/or presentation material.
Competences
1.The student will be able to independently, under the direction of the Master thesis manager, make the necessary improvements to the Master’s thesis, prepare for the pre-defence of the Master’s thesis and defend it to the State Commission.
