About Study Course

Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in ophthalmology in accordance with the requirements of the neurosurgery specialty regulations.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Understanding of aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnostics, and differential diagnostics of vision disorders in neuro-ophthalmology and neurosurgery patients.

Skills

1.Ability to assess the necessity for ophthalmology assistance in case of combined head trauma or neurosurgery symptomatology of a different type.

Competences

1.The doctor, using the acquired knowledge and skills, is able to independently recognize and diagnose ophthalmological diseases, evaluate them, if necessary, involving the relevant specialist.
