About Study Course
Objective
Promote students’ understanding of the adaptation of learning methods according to individual learning needs of students in tailored physical activities. Provide knowledge of the hierarchy of learning guidance and its application in the inclusive sports and health learning process.
Preliminary Knowledge
The student has knowledge of basic principles of pedagogy, psychology and inclusive education, human anatomy and movement development, as well as an understanding of the importance of adjusted physical activity in the learning process of learners with different educational needs. The student is able to plan the learning process, formulate the learning objectives and the results to be achieved, choose appropriate learning and evaluation methods, as well as adapt the learning process to the individual needs of learners.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Explains the hierarchy of learning instructions in custom physical activities.
Practical work – application of guidance methods
2.Describes the principles of the less restrictive environment (LRE) least and their role in the learning process.
Quiz - learning guidance hierarchy and less restrictive Environment (LRE) • Exam
3.Explain guidance strategies that contribute to the development of physical and mobility capabilities.
Exam
Skills
1.Select and apply verbal and non-verbal instructions according to the individual needs of the learners.
Practical work – application of guidance methods
2.Gestures, modelling, direct and indirect instructions in the organisation of the learning process shall be used.
Practical work – application of guidance methods
3.Partial and full physical (manual) assistance, the method of even assistants and methods of cooperation during sports and health training shall be applied.
Group work – application of guidance methods to custom physical activities
Competences
1.Assess the suitability of different guidance strategies for the individual needs of learners.
Practical work – application of guidance methods • Quiz - guidance methods in custom physical activities • Exam
2.Develop a contour of the adjusted physical activity (PFA) class by selecting the most appropriate guidance strategies for the sports and health class.
Group work – application of guidance methods to custom physical activities

Students in groups of 3-5 people shall develop and demonstrate a learning situation in which different methods of providing instructions are used (verbal and non-verbal instructions, gestures, modelling, partial and full physical assistance, even assistants and collaboration methods). At the end of the group work, students shall evaluate the suitability of the selected methods for different learning situations and justify their selection. Fulfilment conditions: prepare and demonstrate a practical task in a group of 3-5 people, justify in writing or orally the methods used and submit the conclusions of the group’s work. Evaluation criteria: Assess the consistency of the methods used to provide guidance with the individual needs of learners, the theoretical justification, co-operation within the group, the quality of the demonstration and the validity of the conclusions. |

Students practically apply verbal and non-verbal instructions, gestures, modelling, partial and full physical assistance, as well as methods for the couple’s assistants and collaborations. Within the scope of the work, the theoretical justification shall be prepared, the observation or measurement report shall be completed, the results shall be analysed and conclusions drawn. The work shall be individually developed. Conditions of implementation: perform the practical task, prepare the theoretical justification, complete the minutes and draw conclusions. Evaluation criteria: assess the relevance of the chosen methods to the situation, the theoretical justification, the analysis of the results and the validity of the conclusions. |

Students shall analyse in writing the hierarchy of the provision of learning instructions and the principles of the less restrictive environment (LRE) of the least in adjusted physical activities. The work shall be individually developed. Fulfillment conditions: perform the quiz on an individual basis. Evaluation criteria: assess the understanding of theoretical knowledge, the use of professional terminology and the ability to analyse situations. |

Students shall demonstrate in the examination the knowledge, skills and competences acquired in the study course regarding the hierarchy of the provision of learning instructions, the principles of the less restrictive environment, as well as the application of the methods of providing instructions in adapted physical activities. Conditions of execution: Both tests must be successfully completed before the examination and the practical work must be submitted. Evaluation criteria: assess the understanding of theoretical knowledge, ability to analyse situations, justify the solutions chosen and use professional terminology. |
