About Study Course
Objective
Provide knowledge and practical experience of participation in a Balint group. A detailed look at the basic principles of doctor-patient relationship building, their therapeutic aspects. Promote students’ ability to reflect on processes that occur in a doctor-patient relationship. To raise awareness of the impact of emotional factors in working with “difficult”, challenging patients focusing on the doctor-patient relationship.
Preliminary Knowledge
Experience in working with patients. An idea of the natural and humanitarian nature of the psyche.
Previous knowledge gained in course in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, PMUPK_008.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Understand the legalities of developing a doctor-patient relationship, their therapeutic aspects.
2.Analyse differences in physician-patient relationships, in cases of different probes-situations.
3.Understand the process, benefits and importance of working for palate groups.
Skills
1.Ability to reflect on processes that occur in a doctor-patient relationship.
2.Ability to better understand and address the difficulties that arise in a doctor-patient relationship.
Competences
1.Skills in reflecting and analyzing processes that occur in a doctor-patient relationship.
2.Joint advocacy for probes in resolving situations and strengthening communication.
