About Study Course
Objective
To provide and enhance the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in ultrasonography, per the pediatric surgical specialty’s requirements to prepare the doctor for certification in the specialty of pediatric surgery.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.- to analyze the ultrasonographic investigation results of emergency conditions - to be able to evaluate the ultrasonographic dynamics of pathological conditions; To learn: • diagnostic ultrasonographic method options in pediatric surgery • ultrasonographic capabilities in pediatric surgical pathological diagnostics • to recognize emergency conditions for children of various ages with the assistance of ultrasonography.
Skills
1.To perform ultrasonographic diagnostics for patients of various ages with acute, emergency, and pathological conditions of various organ systems.
Competences
1.To assess the ultrasonographic investigation results of emergency conditions.
