About Study Course
Objective
To provide basic knowledge of basic principles of the structure and functioning of the human body, to acquire mechanisms of structure and neural movement regulation of the body, topography of human organs, interconnection systems.
Preliminary Knowledge
There is no need for specific foreground in anatomy. Completion of the study course requires general academic skills: ability to work with scientific literature, digital skills in e- learning environments, skills to plan research work independently.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.1. Is familiar with the human skeleton - spine, chest, upper and lower limb bones. 2. Know how to name and display skeletal muscles - understand their attachment points to the skeletal and function. The functions are practical. 3. Explains the structure of the nervous system and its functional importance. 4. Understand topography, function, and operating principles of cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, and endocrine systems.
Oral examination
Skills
1.Display muscles, bones, parts of the brain on mulages, skeletons, anatomical preparations and images.
Competences
1.Able to analyse muscle function in different movements – which joints some muscles work in during different physical activities. Dismantle some movements in a particular joint. Able to engage in physical activity and health teaching with knowledge of human anatomy.

Be familiar with the anatomy of the spine and chest. The structure of the spine, the number of vertebrae and parts thereof, the construction and movements of the spinal joints in the spine. Understand the physiological and abnormal curvature of the spine. Know to name the spinal cords and the design and functions of the intervertebral discs. The structure of the thorax - collarbone, topography of the sternum, rib division and number, diaphragm movements in inhalation and exhalation; rib articulation with vertebrae. Answer 5-10 questions in writing. Be able to demonstrate practical movements. |

Students’ knowledge, skills and competences are tested in the examination. In the exam, each student answers three tickets – three questions (movement analysis, osteosyndesmology and myology) that the student pulls from redacted pages when entering the exam room. The student has been given time (7-10 min) to prepare to respond. The examination shall be verbally answered by demonstrating anatomical formations on the reference materials (bones, dummies, skeleton, images). Only students who have received successful grades in all tests are admitted to the exam. For those students who have not passed any of the tests or who have received an unsuccessful assessment in the examination, an unsuccessful assessment shall be posted at the end of the study course. |
