About Study Course

Objective

Provide with theoretical knowledge and skills in a long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy. To acquire knowledge and skills required for psycho-dynamic evaluation and formulation of patient's personality, master skills to develop and apply therapeutic factors and relations, applying theories of personality and psychotherapy. Master psychoanalytic/psycho-dynamic techniques of psychotherapy (empathic encouragement, clarification, confrontation, interpretation, holding a frame) and apply those depending on the phase of therapy and type of personality organisation and level of functioning.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge of psychoanalytic/psychodynamic theory of psychotherapy, apply it for treatment of patients with different level of functioning of personalities and different types of personality organisation, and identify peculiarities of work;

Skills

1.Treat patients with different personality structures and levels of functionality applying psychoanalytic/psychodynamic psychotherapy;

Competences

1.Example-based knowledge, skills and attitude essential for working at a hospital and for research, raising public awareness via media.
