About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Will have knowledge of the diagnostic and treatment principles of the most frequent paediatric haematological diseases. Will have knowledge of support therapy principles and observation in dynamics of acute leukoses in children. Will have knowledge of the diagnostic and treatment principles of chronic leukoses at the age of a child. Lymphoma clinical presentation, diagnostics and treatment in children. Will have knowledge of manifestations and diagnostics of congenital coagulopathies in children.
Skills
1.Will be able to differentiate and diagnose the most frequent haematological diseases in children according to the requirements for the haematologist’s certification. Will be able to communicate with paediatric patients with oncohaematology and coagulopathy, will have knowledge of therapy principles in children.
Competences
1.To examine and treat children with acute leukoses on a daily basis; To examine and treat children with lymphoma and/or Hodgkin disease on a daily basis; To examine and treat children with immune thrombocytopenia on a daily basis; To participate in the visits, councils of the department; To participate in bone marrow biopsies, aspirations.
