About Study Course

Objective

To prepare ophthalmologists who are able to examine and treat eye patients in children.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Pediatric patient examination algorithms and tactics.

Skills

1.Fundus oculi visit for children of different ages. One-year and three-year-olds with a monocular or binocular ophthalmoscope and a 20 D magnifying glass and six-year-olds with the same method and also with a biomicroscope and a 90-magnifying glass.

Competences

1.To evaluate the peculiarities of the pediatric fundus oculi and the peculiarities of the ophthalmoscopic site.
