About Study Course

Objective

The students know the constitutional principles of the EU and they are able to classify and evaluate current political processes against this background. They know the organs and decision-making mechanisms of the European Union and they are familiar with the hierarchy of norms of European law. The students know the principles of European primary law (TEU, TFEU and Charter of Fundamental Rights) and they can check specific facts for compatibility with European requirements. The students know the main tasks and competencies of the European Court of Justice and the importance of its decisions for the individual member states of the European Union.
