About Study Course

Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the organization of angiosurgical assistance, in accordance with the requirements of the regulations of the specialty of vascular surgery, in order to prepare the doctor for certification in the specialty of vascular surgeon, in accordance with the regulatory documents of the Republic of Latvia.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.After completing the course, you will know: - screening role for timely diagnosis of carotid artery and abdominal aorta, - will know the deadlines for inspection of the control of the postoperative period, the objectives of the inspection after vascular revascularization,

Skills

1.Will be able to: - to draw up documents for outpatients and inpatients treated in a precise and informative way, -will be able to organize emergency assistance for patients with acute vascular injuries and diseases, -implement a risk factor modification program for atherosclerotic occlusive vascular diseases for each patient.
