About Study Course

Objective

Improve public speaking and presentation skills. Create and present a presentation. Learn various techniques for reducing anxiety, breathing and voice modulation during a presentation.

Preliminary Knowledge

Linguistics, Latvian language, Voice therapy.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.By successful course acquirement students will be able to: • expound structure of public speaking, aims, characteristic of public speaking; • formulate improvement methods of speaking techniques; • describe the rules of manners into the field of public communication.

Skills

1.By course acquisition students will be able to manage breathing, diction and text exercises to successful development of public speaking skills.

Competences

1.By successful course acquisition students will be able to use acquired practical skills to develop and present public speaking by using correct speaking technique.
