Knowledge
1.Upon completion of the study course, the medical resident: • Will know the principles of modern medical laboratory organisation; • Will know the principles of clinical blood tests; • Will know the principles of clinical chemistry laboratory tests; • Will know the principles of performing coagulation tests.
Skills
1.Upon completion of the study course, the medical resident: • Will be able to evaluate the informative value of laboratory diagnostic tests; • Will be able to differentiate the composition of peripheral blood cells, count the leukocyte formula; • Will be able to determine the morphological changes of blood cells; • Will be able to evaluate clinical chemistry testing indicators; • Will be able to evaluate a thromboelastogram; • Will be able to evaluate the indicators of the blood coagulation system.
Competences
1.To participate in the daily work of the laboratory; To get acquainted with the operating principles of laboratory equipment; To evaluate leukocyte formulas of peripheral blood tests under a microscope; To evaluate the results of blood coagulation tests; To evaluate thromboelastography results; Will participate in internal and external control activities of laboratory testing.

To evaluate the results of blood coagulation tests of at least 20 patients;
To evaluate at least 15 thromboelastography results;
Will participate in internal and external control activities of laboratory testing.
