About Study Course

Objective

To enable students to acquire theoretical and practical basic knowledge in outdoor and adventure activities (orientation), in accordance with the basic navigation skills necessary for a person and the educational content of primary, primary and secondary schools.

Preliminary Knowledge

Knowledge of foreign languages at a sufficient level to understand the specialised literature, in English and also in Latvian. Anatomy, basic physiology.

Knowledge, skills and skills are required when starting the study course, in accordance with the standard of general secondary education in sport at last.

1.Will be familiar with the orientation sports map, colors, designations, scales. Special terminology in Latvian and English

1.Knows how to do orientation distance with a map and compass. Knows how to orientate the map, determine the direction and control it as you move around the terrain, know how to determine the distance after the map and control it as you move within the orientation distance. Can read the orientation map and recognize objects on the map in the terrain.
