About Study Course

Objective

To train residents for work in pathology centers and departments with the aim of determining precise diagnosis of the disease in hematopoetic and lymphatic system in biopsy, operation and autopsy material.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge of modern investigation methods of hematopathology, slide preparation for microscopy, diagnostics of non-oncological and oncological hematopathological diseases.

Skills

1.Permanently perform hematopathological surgical material dissecting to appropriate standards for the preparation of slides, as well as continuous microscopic diagnostics in hematopathological material in the case of various non-ocological and oncological processes.

Competences

1.Decision to make a diagnose in the hematopathological operation material.

Theoretical test with 3 orally opened questions about the topics discussed in the course of the hematopathology. Practical test with 5 slides and demonstration of grossing technique in different operation materials.
