About Study Course

Objective

To provide insight into the development of business strategy and policy, based on strategic planning, criteria for selection of these strategies, rules for development and further implementation of these strategies in practice.

Preliminary Knowledge

Knowledge of the basics of economics, microeconomics and macroeconomics, organisational theory and management is required.

1.On successful course completion students are able to define the essence and basic principles of strategic management and planning, to explain the analysis of the company's activity according to the SWOT method and the method of evaluating competitors, to describe the types of strategies.

Independent preparation for participation in lectures and seminars, including reading and participation in teamwork. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must complete the study course assessment questionnaire on the student Portal.

Evaluation of the contribution to teamwork

By the beginning of the examination, each student shall submit an evaluation of the contribution to the work of the team in e-studies. It builds up by dividing 100 points between everyone in the team, myself included.

Assessment of acquired/acquired during the study course

The student shall submit an essay-type work in which he or she assesses his or her contribution, as well as the most relevant one acquired during the study course.

The scheduled 9 workshops on teams perform a variety of tasks and prepare presentations. The students shall agree on the division of work within the framework of the team themselves.

At the end of each lecture meeting, students in the e-learning environment complete a short multi-choice test on the topics affected during the lecture. A total of 7 controls are planned, filling them at a different time or improving the rating is not envisaged.

Overview of concepts

Each student shall prepare and submit to e-studies, at their discretion, the most relevant concepts of strategic management, justifying their choice.
