About Study Course

Objective

To create an idea about regularities in human communication arising from their relations with other people, groups and society in general, as well as to familiarise with basic theoretical elements of communication, which affect human thinking, feelings, needs, values and behaviour.

Knowledge

1.After mastering the course students understand in depth the way people establish relations with other people, groups and society in general in communication, know what affects human thinking, feelings, needs, values and behaviour.

Skills

1.After mastering the course students are able to practically analyse different communication situations, understand their meaning and can explain different psychological manifestations and aspects.

Competences

1.After mastering the course students thoughtfully act in communication situations and can explain and analyse communication situations from the psychological point of view.

Students read texts and prepare for a discussion at seminars, prepare and present their work on non-verbal communication, create a social psychological analysis of a film, create and present the diploma work on psychological aspects of use of ICT. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.

1. Attendance of lectures and seminars forms 10% of the final mark. 2. Social psychological analysis of the film “The Wave/Die Welle” – 25% of the final mark. 3. Prepared and presented work on psychological aspects of use of ICT – 25% of the final mark. 4.The percentage score obtained in the exam - 40% of the final grade.
