Objective

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.On completion of the course students name, define and explain: • main concepts of a project, project management guidelines; • coordination of interests of different stakeholders of a project; • creation and leading of a project team.
Skills
1.On completion of the course students understand, interpret and discuss: • the use of the logical framework method in developing a project rationale; • internal and external risk factors of a project, measures for mitigation internal risks and assumptions for external risks; • criteria of projects which can be objectively controlled, their verification methods and information sources.
Competences
1.On completion of the course students use, verify and analyse: • coordination, supervision and re-planning of a project; • work packages and progress of a project. Students integrate, unite, combine and discuss: • planning of stages of the project life cycle, management of project changes; • planning and supervision of project developments (work tasks), time and deadlines, investments and costs.

To approbate knowledge provided at lectures and practical classes, developing an independent work in student groups (3-5 students) – a project proposal on a given topic.
In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
