About Study Course

Objective

To acquire the knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment and the need to attract a specialist in maxillofacial surgery in cases of jaw deformations and oncology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Sucessfull acquiring of knowlege about OMF tumor diagnostics, differential diagnostics, pathogenesis, and treatment. Digital implantology planning for OMF tumor reconstructive treatment and dental implantation.

Skills

1.Analyze cephalometric data in images of patients with congenital and acquired deformities of jaws. Approppriate surgical treatment method selection for orthognathic deformities. OMF tumor clinical diagnostics and proper treatment protocol selection. Usage of software planning for reconstructive surgery and implant placement in maxillofacial tumor patients.

Competences

1.To evaluate patients' clinical and radiological data and to set indications for orthognathic surgery treatment. To diagnose and select appropriate treatment in cases of OMF tumors. To apply modern digital planning methods.

Planning of surgical guides and use in surgical implant operations.
