About Study Course

Objective

To foster the professional competence of students by promoting the implementation of systematised and empirically justified content on basic matters of social and communication psychology, socio-psychological approach to personality research, formation, processes and expressions of personality communication skills.

Preliminary Knowledge

Prerequisites: general and developmental psychology; pedagogy

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.1. Theoretical directions and scientific developments of social and communication psychology 2. Structure of communication, social perceptions, communication, manifestations of interaction and social impact factors 3. Phenomena of personality behaviour in groups, types of conflicts, their progress and resolution possibilities.

Individual work and tests

Assessment of social perception situations Conflict resolution and discussion methods in the sports team/group. Solo work with presentation: interactive aspect of contact in a sports workout or an hour of sport.

Skills

1.1. Able to explain and define current problems in the work of a sports teacher and able to purposefully plan and analyse their causes in the socio-psychological context. 2. Able to discuss communication and cooperation skills in the work of a sports specialist.

Competences

1.1. Identifies and is able to work with socio-psychological problems by choosing appropriate manifestations of communication in the work of a sports specialist. 2. Analytically evaluates social phenomena of a group, the interaction between the social environment and a personality in the professional activity of a sports specialist.

Assessment of social perception situations

1. Evaluation of the social perception positions of two persons in 3 situations. Preferably with a video or a description of the situations. The evaluation shall be carried out in accordance with the analysis of perception mechanisms and barriers.

Conflict resolution and discussion methods in the sports team/group.

The evaluation of conflict resolution and discussion methods in a sports team/group shall be organised in the context of theoretical criteria, describing it by example. At least 3 conflict resolution methods or techniques in the context of different types of conflict

Solo work with presentation: interactive aspect of contact in a sports workout or an hour of sport.

Solo work with presentation: interactive aspect of contact in a sports workout or an hour of sport. Interactive influences are revealed on the lesson example. You can do the work in groups of 2-3 people with a presentation for 10 minutes.
