About Study Course

Objective

Acquire knowledge of the role of dermocosmetics in the care of a healthy and abnormally altered face, body, scalp and hair. Understand and acquire knowledge of the role of dermocosmetics and their use in the treatment of skin problems. Understand dermocosmetic product indications based on clinical picture and consumer preferences.

Knowledge

1.As a result of successful study course acquisition, students will be able to: Navigate the terminology of cosmetics, dermocosmetics, understand the difference.

2.As a result of successful study course acquisition, students will be able to: Target groups of different dermocosmetics in relation to specific indications of use.

3.As a result of successful study course acquisition, students will be able to: Analyse the basic ingredients of dermocosmetics, understand their meaning.

4.As a result of successful study course acquisition, students will be able to: To assess the usefulness of dermocosmetic products on an individual basis, in specific cases.

Skills

1.As a result of successful study course acquisition, students will be able to: Assess the skin type, its condition.

2.As a result of successful study course acquisition, students will be able to: Recognise the main indications for the use of certain dermocosmetic products.

3.As a result of successful study course acquisition, students will be able to: Analyse the benefits of a particular situation from a properly applied dermo-cosmetic product.

Competences

1.As a result of the successful completion of the study course, students will be able to provide advice on the type of human skin, combinations of its conditions, as well as help to trace the correct dermocosmetic product, taking into account the characteristics of the clinical scene and the requirements of the visitor.
