About Study Course

Objective

To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills according to the requirements of the specialty of a geriatrician and related torehabilitation of geriatric patients.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Rehabilitation principles, necessity, possibilities. Functional condition assessment. Assistive technologies and housing adaptation possibilities. Importance of physical activity.

1.Usage of the functional condition assessment toolsand interpretation of results. Use of gait and fall risk assessment tools.

1.Drawing up of a patient’s rehabilitation plan and discussion in a team (geriatrician, rehabilitation specialist, physiotherapist, etc.)
