About Study Course
Objective
To provide residents with in-depth knowledge of periodontal disease prevention, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
To acquire in-depth diagnostics and conservative treatment methods of periodontal disease during etiotropic and maintenance phase of treatment.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.In-depth knowledge of Etiology and pathogenesis of periodontal disease; In-depth knowledge of Examination and diagnosis of periodontal disease; In-depth knowledge of Correlation between periodontal and systemical diseases; In-depth knowledge of Treatment planning of periodontal disease; In-depth knowledge of Periodontal treatment assessment results.
Skills
1.In-depth skills in The patient's motivation and individual oral hygiene instructions; In-depth skills in Soft plaque removal, supragingival and subgingival scaling, root planning; In-depth skills in Gingival pockets curettage; In-depth skills in Iatrogenic factors prevention; In-depth skills in Dental splinting; In-depth skills in the treatment of acute conditions.
