About Study Course

Objective

To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in order to prepare a physician for thorough understanding of cytological and morphological examination as a verification method of basic tumour.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge of modern pathological examination methods of malignant tumours according to the global standards, interpretation of pathological findings and selection of integration therapy tactics and strategy.

Skills

1.To prepare samples of cell and tissue material for further transportation to the laboratory and cytological and morphological examination, as well as assess the most suitable pathological examination method in each particular case of the disease.

Competences

1.Taking scrape, puncture, imprint cytological and biopsy material and preparation for further examination, participation in autopsy, participation in preparation of cell and tissue material for further microscopic examination.
