About Study Course

Objective

To deepen students’ understanding of the connection between culture and psychology and to improve the ability to analyse the possible effects of culture on various individual and group mental states, processes, characteristics, individual and group behaviour.

1.Analyses, compares and critically evaluates the concepts of intercultural psychology, respecting methodological considerations and using appropriate terminology.

1.Analyses and explains the potential effects of different cultures on different aspects of psychological research and counselling, including the psychiatric conditions, processes, characteristics, behaviour of the individual and group individually and in the group.

Competences

1.Able to obtain, select and analyse information and use it to explain concepts of Starcultural psychology on various aspects of psychological research and counselling, including the psychiatric conditions, processes, characteristics, behaviour of the individual, interpret published research in intercultural psychology on its research subject and formulate issues and strategies for addressing them based on research results.
