About Study Course

Objective

To promote the development of the professional competence of students in the organisation and management of teaching and learning of basketball, taking into account the individual possibilities of students and conformity with the learning outcome to be achieved, as well as to enable students to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in playing basketball and organising competitions of students with simplified or changed rules.

Preliminary Knowledge

Knowledge of basic principles of human anatomy and physiology.

Understanding the basic principles of sports pedagogy and the organisation of the learning process.

A knack for planning and conducting simple physical activity classes.

Basic knowledge of sports training theory and load dosing principles.

1.Plans and conducts basketball training sessions in accordance with educational standards and learning requirements. The rules of the basketball game, the principles of the operation of referees and the secretariat’s duties in training and competition situations shall be applied. Demonstrate basketball techniques and organize modified learning games.
