About Study Course

Objective

To check the competencies and skills of bachelors in the profession and the ability of bachelors to assess the process of development of their competencies and skills during their studies, as well as their professional development plan.

Preliminary Knowledge

Basic theoretical courses in psychology and professional specialization courses and practices: observation practice, research of cognitive processes in practice, research of personality in practice, psychological counseling in practice and development of psychological strategies in practice.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.According to the case description, the theoretical substantiation of psychological interventions is performed, the choice of theoretical approach to work with a particular client is substantiated, the chosen psychological methods and interventions for work are critically analyzed.

Skills

1.According to the case description, the client is evaluated and an appropriate theoretical approach to work with the relevant group of patients is chosen. Creates a psychological research and strategy plan for a specific client, taking into account the client's specifics, age and potential risks. Appropriate interventions are selected and used. Critically analyzes and evaluates the process and outcome of psychological counselling.

Competences

1.Psychologist's methods, techniques and interventions are applied in accordance with the specific client and goal. Analyzes the results of psychological counselling. Performs self-reflection.
