About Study Course

Objective

Provide knowledge and skills in different types of psychotherapy in compliance with the qualification of psychotherapist and psychosomatic medicine practitioner. Provide overview of the types of Psychotherapy applied in medicine, their characterisation, indications and contraindications.

1.Recognise different types of psychotherapy, indications and contraindications.

1.Comparative analysis of indications and contraindications of different types of psychotherapy in the particular clinical case.

Competences

1.Example-based knowledge, skills and attitude essential for working at a hospital and for research, raising public awareness via media; understanding of a team-work (work in groups) and its functions, psycho-dynamics, crisis situations and their solution; as well as the ability to manage the work of a multi-disciplinary team and be part of such team, supervise doctors and medical staff.
