Knowledge
1.After mastering the study program, students will have acquired comprehensive and specialized knowledge in nutrition therapy and understanding, which will allow: 1. Describe and explain the concepts of medical and nutritional therapy that apply to the practice of a nutritionist; 2. Explain, compare and evaluate the history of the development of nutrition therapy and the latest developments in it.
Skills
1.As a result of mastering the study program, students will be able to: 1. Evaluate the health status of patients and clients within their competence; 2. Develop and implement a nutrition therapy plan, in accordance with the requirements of professional ethics, working independently or as a member of a multi-professional team; 3. Apply evidence-based practice in nutrition therapy when choosing working methods with different clients / patients; 4. Carry out research, planning and analysis related to nutrition and food, using this knowledge for the organization of catering in rehabilitation centers, kindergartens, schools, hospitals, nursing homes; 5. Evaluate the effectiveness of the use of nutritional therapy in strengthening and improving the health of clients / patients, and justify the decisions made; 6. Independently promote the development of their competencies and further learning.
Competences
1.1. Independently or working in a multi-professional / interdisciplinary team, working with different groups of clients / patients individually or in a group, to apply nutritional therapy medical technology, according to the specific situation and client / patient needs; 2. Apply the acquired theories, nutrition therapy methods / interventions and techniques according to the specific situation and the needs of the client / patient, and use new approaches if necessary; 3. To plan and conduct research in nutrition therapy; 4. To implement ethical responsibility in practice, to understand the possible impact of one's activities on the individual, group and society; 5. To independently formulate and critically analyze professional problems, to explain and discuss nutrition therapy with arguments both with specialists and non-specialists in the field.

The theoretical test must be written, it includes theoretical closed-ended test questions with four answer options, where only one is correct. Two test variants have been created and within 3 academic hours the student completes the test, marking the chosen answer variant. The test includes questions from general education study courses, branch theoretical basic courses and branch professional specialization courses. In the practical part, the student presents a clinical case to the commission, presents knowledge in nutrition therapy and rehabilitation. Preparation time and completion of the protocol does not exceed 30 minutes.

The examination in both parts, as well as the resulting assessment takes place according to the generally accepted 10 point system ((by analogy with Chapter I 4 of the Study Regulations).
The resulting grade mark is calculated according to a specific formula (see below). For the resulting assessment to be successful in this comprehensive test, both sections must be successfully passed.
The resulting VP rating (Rv) is calculated as follows:
The percentage of each part of the VP is multiplied by the rating obtained in this part (a, b) and the result obtained
sum of numbers divided by 100:
Rv = (a x 70) + (b x 30) / 100
Where a and b are the evaluation of the practical and theoretical part,
70 and 30 are the percentages of each part.
If the resulting score is a number with decimals, it is rounded to the nearest whole number.
