About Study Course

Objective

To acquire knowledge and principles of emergency medical aid for cases occurring in forensic medicine practice in narcology, in accordance with the requirements of the Forensic Medicine Specialty Regulations, in order to prepare the doctor for certification and independent work in the specialty of Forensic Medicine Expert.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.To recognize the clinical symptoms, pathogenesis, outcome and thanatogenesis of alcoholism, drug addiction, toxicomania, the basic principles of therapy.

Skills

1.Diagnose critical conditions of the patient; to evaluate the influence of alcoholism and drug addiction on fatal outcome in autopsy.

Competences

1.Provide emergency assistance in cases of complications caused by alcoholism, drug addiction and toxic addiction.
