About Study Course

Objective

To acquire in-depth knowledge about the most common congenital and acquired diseases of the upper respiratory tract in children, diagnosis, treatment and possible prevention.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.To know the most common congenital and acquired upper respiratory diseases, their diagnosis, treatment and possible prevention.

Skills

1.To be able to investigate and objectively evaluate the clinical findings in children with acquired and congenital respiratory diseases.

Competences

1.Use the acquired knowledge and skills to perform the functions of a highly qualified specialist and to advise patients with acquired and congenital lung and respiratory diseases at any age of the child.

During each study course, reports are prepared, clinical cases are reviewed, and the latest literature is reviewed. In addition to seminars, residents conduct research and pedagogical work, as well as attend lectures organised by the Centre for Continuing Education on interdisciplinary problems and theoretical guidelines in medicine and other sciences.
