About Study Course
Objective
The aim is to provide and improve knowledge and practical skills, corresponding to demands of nephrology speciality in Latvia, EU including acid-base and hypertensive problems.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Obtained knowledge in clinical nephrology with accent on differential diagnosis of primary and secondary glomerulopathies according to list of themes.
Skills
1.Acquired skills in performing arterial punctures, trepan biopsies and kidney biopsies. Perform bed-side ultrasonoscopy.
Competences
1.Ability to prepare JC, clinic meeting reports, ability to analyze scientific literature. Ability to participate in councils and decide on-call issues in multidisciplinary teams.
