Objective

Knowledge
1.As a result of the study course, the resident strengthens the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the chosen specialty, as well as acquires knowledge related to the application of pedagogical methods: a) in the pedagogical work of the university; b) in patient education; c) in the implementation of continuing education in the field of teaching medicine.
Skills
1.As a result of completing the study course, the resident will be able to carry out pedagogical work: a) at the university, including conducting students' theoretical and practical classes, colloquiums. In addition to pedagogical skills, within the framework of this type of pedagogical work, the ability to provide constructive feedback, lead, mentor and motivate younger colleagues to improve professionally in their professional experience is promoted; b) in patient education, incl. developing intercommunication skills; c) in the field of continuing education.

1.Professional competence, pedagogical competence, communicative competence, methodological competence related to the profession of a doctor.

Assessment - twice during the study year, the resident makes an entry in the Resident's Book about the pedagogical work carried out, indicating the type of pedagogical work (the target audience chosen for the specifics of the resident's studies and professional development interests, pedagogical work with students, pedagogical work with residents, pedagogical work with patients, educating colleagues), the amount and venue. The head of the specialty program, the head of the relevant department or the person responsible for the residents of the medical institution confirms the given information with a signature. The duration of study course is 2 weeks. The study course does not include seminars.
