About Study Course

Objective

To provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills on photographer’s work in a photo studio. To create students’ understanding of the use of the flashlight, creation of lighting patterns, reproduction and modification of classical lighting situations.

Preliminary Knowledge

The digital imaging study course has been mastered. Necessary basic skills to use a professional digital camera.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.After mastering the course students will know basic principles of use of lighting in photography. Students will know the historical and contemporary traditions in the use of a photo studio. Students will get an insight into the use of studio photography in media and daily life.

Skills

1.After mastering the course students will know how to use artificial lighting in studio photography for different tasks.

Competences

1.After mastering the course students will be able to autonomously create and lead a creative project in photography, using studio opportunities as a basis.
