About Study Course

Objective

Prepare doctors, who will be able to examine and treat patients with lens diseases.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Doctors will know: Etiopathogenesis of glaucoma and lens deseases, diagnostic and treatment methods; Intraocular correction types, indications and principles of choice.

Skills

1.Doctors will be able to: • Do a subconjunctival injection • Do a subtenon and parabulbar injection • Do cataract surgery (different stages) • Choose an IOL • Do computerized perimetry • Do glaucoma surgery - sinusotrabeculectomy (different stages) • Choose suitable antiglaucoma therapy, taking in consideration the results of eye structural and functional examination

1.To evaluate, examine and treat cataract and glaucoma according to modern ophthalmology requirements.
