About Study Course

Objective

To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills according to the requirements of the specialty of a geriatrician and related to changes in the urogenital system with ageing and urogenital diseases in older patients.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.- Hormonal changes associate with ageing in women and men. - Age-related changes in the urogenital system. - Urogenital diseases in women and men. - Urinary incontinence

1.- Recognise problems associate with urogenital pathology in the elderly - Plan the scope of examinations, select the appropriate examination method - Know how to interpret the results of clinical tests and examinations.
