Presentation of basic principles for dealing with a particular client/patient group

-
Test

As part of the study course, students prepare a presentation reflecting the main basic principles of the art therapy process in working with a particular client/patient. The presentation shall demonstrate theoretical knowledge and the ability to conceptualise it by linking it to the needs of the particular client/patient. The presentation must be based on a predefined structure.

2.

Development of art therapy strategies

50.00% from total grade
10 points

Within the framework of the study course, students shall develop an art therapy strategy plan intended to work with an individual client/patient or group selected from the specified client/patient group list. The development of the work assesses the relevance of the objectives set to the art therapy process and to the specific customer/patient group or interference. Includes selecting and applying the basic principles of the art therapy process to work with the selected client/patient group or disorder, as well as within the specialisation framework. The work should include an art therapy plan for ten examination periods with clearly structured content, objectives and methods. In addition, the design of the work, the use of references and the use of academic language are evaluated.

Simulation of an examination period in the nature of a role play

50.00% from total grade
10 points

As part of the study course, students run one study examination period simulation role in the form of a game based on a pre-developed plan for an individual client/patient or group. The customer/patient group is determined by lot from the given list. During the simulation, the ability to ensure the organisation of the examination period shall be assessed according to the time frame and three-part structure. The targeting of counselling skills, the relevance of the objectives of the examination period and the methods, tasks and techniques chosen to meet the needs of the client/patient or group, and the selection and application of appropriate basic principles of the art therapy process in a given situation are also assessed. After the examination period, students prepare a self-reflection in which they analyse the counselling skills applied, the course of the examination period, the results achieved and the difficulties identified.
